Meet Joseph Arvay, DMD

Joseph Arvay, DMD, is an award-winning orthodontist at Flanders Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics in Flanders, New Jersey. He’s been on the top orthodontists list in New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s dentist poll nine times. Dr. Arvay is also the attending orthodontist on the dental staff of Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, where he has served for more than 10 years and has appeared on television to describe recent advances in orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Arvay graduated with honors from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, and earned his master’s degree from the National University of Ireland. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors and a certificate in orthodontics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Arvay then completed an orthodontics fellowship at Harvard University Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

To share his knowledge and experience, Dr. Arvay lectures on adult orthodontic treatment for Atlantic Health Systems and has published articles in the Journal of the American Dental Association and Clinical Preventive Dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Arvay is an appointed member of the New Jersey Dental Association peer review committee for orthodontics, has served as the past president of the Tri-County Dental Society and participates in Smiles Change Lives, a charitable organization for disadvantaged children.
