Dr. Sonnenberg earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, before completing a General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital and receiving his specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

He is a proud third-generation dentist, following in the footsteps of his father Edward, Founder of Flanders Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, and his grandfather Leonard.

Dr. Sonnenberg enjoys spending time with his wife Phoebe, playing golf, traveling, and cooking. He is a huge fan of UConn athletics, his undergraduate alma mater.
