Dr. Joseph Arvay is an orthodontist who has offices in Morristown and Flanders. He has been named nine times as one of the top orthodontists in New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s dentist poll. He is an appointed member of the NJ Dental Association peer review committee for orthodontics, and is a past president of the Tri-County Dental Society.
Dr. Arvay graduated with honors from Seton Hall University and received a master’s degree from the National University of Ireland. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and certificate in orthodontics from Rutgers University, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.
Dr. Arvay was also offered a fellowship at Harvard University's Forsyth Institute in orthodontics. He has been an attending orthodontist on the dental staff of Morristown Memorial Hospital for more than ten years and appeared on local TV to describe recent advances in orthodontic treatment. He has lectured on adult orthodontic treatment to the dental staff at Overlook and Morristown hospitals (Atlantic Health Systems).
Dr. Arvay also participates in Smiles Change Lives, which is a charitable organization for disadvantaged children. He has had articles published in the Journal of the American Dental Association and Clinical Preventive Dentistry.
