Dr. Dan Dinowitz received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and his certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he served as chief dental resident. He has been practicing since 2014, and joined the pediatric dental field because it allows him to help children in a meaningful way that will have long-lasting effects.
Dr. Dinowitz currently serves on the executive board of the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, where he helps to organize continuing education events for pediatric dentists in the area. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Dan strives to stay on the cutting edge of dental technology, because continuing his education as a practitioner ensures that his patients will receive the best treatment available.
Before starting his dental career, Dr. Dan grew up in Marlboro. He now lives in Hoboken with his lovely and sweet wife, Michelle. His favorite thing to do when he is not at work is travel! Dr. Dan says that he loves exploring other cultures and “learning not only about our differences but what makes us similar.” He is our resident adventurous eater; you can always find him posting about his new and exotic favorites!
Dr. Dan works very closely with Donated Dental Services, which is a program that provides free dental care to children with special healthcare needs. Dr. Dan feels it is so important to give back to the community of which he is a part. He is most passionate about helping the anxious patient work through apprehensions and overcome challenges in a personal and customized way. According to Dr. Dan, “I believe every patient is different and, therefore, my approach with them should be unique each time!”
Dr. Dan loves our office, especially his team of assistants and hygienists because of their energetic attitudes. Each member of the team is able to bring something unique to the table with their personalities, which makes each day fun. Our office has a very light-hearted attitude, which translates to patients who are happy and parents who get to relax during their children’s treatment!
